About Me

I’ve been a nurse for the past 8 years since I left school. In between that I’ve moved around, travelled, lived on a broiler farm that my husband managed, run cattle farm, helped with our families wood and protea business and renovated our first home all on our own. We have now settled down after our first child and bought a 7 acre property in which we are learning to become self-sufficient as much as we can be. We are only just starting so be patient with us and learn from our mistakes and lessons.
