It’s spring time and the ticks are out in force.

Our mother in laws horse had ticks crawl up his penis and swell so much he was having issues urinating.

I’ve pulled ticks of the cat and the dogs have still been ok thankfully to the tick repellent tablets we give them regularly.

Our little boy Hunter, our little farm baby, was unwell 2 nights ago. I though he felt hot and when I checked him he had temperatures around 38.6. He had no other symptoms. The next day his temperature eased in the morning but spiked again after a nap. When we were sitting out on the grass I spotted the small dot on his back. A tick causing all this upset, fevers and he had refused to walk by then. Thankfully we got it out and after some rest he started to feel his usual energetic self.

Keep an eye out and keep your animals up to date with there meds for the spring and summer time.
